Our Smoke Eaters are divided into 3 categories...

1) Electrostatic Smoke Eaters
An electrostatic smoke eater runs quietly, does not require costly filter changes and is energy efficient. Electrostatic smoke eaters are designed to remove particles from the air, by removing the particles, odor level is reduced, but electrostatic smoke eaters are not the best choice if odor removal is the major concern. A few electrostatic smoke eaters do offer carbon as an option, which can help further reduce odors. Electrostatic smoke eaters use electronic filters which must be cleaned on a regular basis.

2) Media Based Smoke Eaters
Several media filter options available such as HEPA, activated carbon, & deluxe VOC blends.  Smoke eaters with media filters do not require constant regular cleaning, though filters must be replaced about once a year. A smoke eater with several pounds of granulated carbon or a VOC blend is best for removing odors and chemical fumes, as found in tobacco smoke.

3) Home & Small Office Smoke Eaters
A selection of portable, freestanding, tabletop, surface mount and flush mount smoke eaters. Electrostatic or media based smoke eaters available.  These smoke eaters are designed to be effective in small to medium size rooms.

Smokeeater FS and LS

The FS and LS smoke eaters are ideal for locations where aesthetics are important, because they are installed above the ceiling and inconspicuous. FS and LS model commercial smoke eaters operate more quietly than other large-capacity air cleaners and can be ducted to multiple rooms or over larger areas, because they are concealed above a drop ceiling.
