Fedders Y
Chassis Window air conditioners are light weight and easy to setup. These
window air conditioners are great for medium to large size rooms like bedrooms,
living rooms, dens and home
offices.
Y Chassis
Window Air conditioners are available from 10000 btu to 18000 btu and can
handle anywhere from 450 to 1000 square feet. And can flow air at 255 to 352 cfm.
The Y chassis
can remove about 1.4 pints per hour along with 2
speed fans and 2 way air direction. Certain models are Energy Star compliant
for the energy conscious.
Fedders Y-Chassis Window Air Conditioners feature manual controls or
Electronic controls. The difference is the electronic controls give you a
digital readout of desired cooling temperature wile the manual has a dial
that you turn to select the temperature you wish to cool.

Installation...
Installation is easy as 1-2-3! You can go from the box to cool in minutes...
First
unpack the air conditioner from your box and attach the sliding flex window
mount. Second expand the flex mount to desired length. Third mount the air
conditioner in the window and secure it. Finally plug the air conditioner in
and start enjoying your new cool.
