Intended for highly sensitive environments, such
as ISO 14644-1 Class 2, 3 & 4 or Federal Standard 209E class 1 & 10, the 0.2
-2.0 um Lighthouse REMOTE 2014P Airborne Particle Counter produces real-time continuous
monitoring and alarming. With an internal pump supplying 0.1 CFM,
the compact REMOTE 2014P particle counter is a little smaller than the size of a child's
lunchbox.
The REMOTE P series particulate monitors are the
most versatile of discrete particle counters. The 2014-P remote laser
particle counter will act as a hub, supporting all sensors necessary to
thoroughly monitor and verify ISO Class 2, 3, & 4 mini-environments while
integrating seamlessly with
large facility monitoring/management systems via MODBUS.
Running with the Lighthouse Mini-Manifold, made
specifically to increase monitoring coverage in mini-environments, and four
4-20mA environmental sensors (air pressure differential, and air velocity
probes required to demonstrate continuing compliance for ISO 14644-2)
along with 4 size channels
of simultaneous particle count data, the Remote 2014-P provides twenty-eight
hard points of monitored data. The Mini-Manifold gives you better
coverage than using one particle counter per mini-environment, and is less
expensive than installing six remote particle counters inside the
environment. An even less expensive solution would be to use one
particle counter connected to a Universal Manifold to monitor up to 32
locations divided between all your mini-environments. The downside
here being, wait time between samplings for 32 locations is typically 45
minutes (a little more than a minute to sample & hold each tube).
Using the Mini-Manifold, on the other hand, lets you continuously monitor
the mini-environment while sequencing between six locations within the
environment.
