Wood's Millennium Manual 55 Pint Dehumidifier

"No Need to Worry about Moisture and Mildew when You Use the Manual 55 Pint Dehumidifier from WC Woods."

The Millennium Manual WMD55WE dehumidifier manufactured by WC Wood will take out as much as 55 pints of water per day and can cover an area up to 1,200 square feet.

The WMD55WE 55 pint dehumidifier can easily handle a higher humidity area and is perfect for keeping mildew and moisture from forming on the various surfaces of your home or office.

Place your WC Wood dehumidifier in an enclosed area where the moisture content is high during the summer. When the humidity is at its highest the moisture builds up and accumulates in the wall linings, framing, roofs and furnishings.

Humidity is the number one cause for damaged wood.
In fact, moisture will collect anywhere it can be absorbed. Don't take the chance of damaging your home and having the wood start to rot. Moisture can cause so much havoc through mold and mildew production that can easily ruin curtains, clothing, carpets and upholstery.

How to empty the collected moisture from the air.
The reservoir bucket is located neat the front of the unit for easy access.  It slides forward and is easy to grip and empty with an easy pour design. Your W.C. Wood's WMD55WE has an indicator light that will turn on when the bucket is full and it is time for emptying.

Features for your manual 55 pint WMD55WE dehumidifier.
Other features include radial dial manual controls, a two-speed fan, an air filter that is washable. Integrated handle and casters for portability.

Placement of your WC Woods Manual Dehumidifier:
Your dehumidifier works best when it is placed in an enclosed area. Close all doors and windows and other outside openings to the room. Make sure that your manual 55 pint dehumidifier is placed in an area where there is no restriction to air flow.

Allow at least one foot of air space on the front and back of your dehumidifier.  A dehumidifier placed in a basement is worthless if you expect it to dry an adjacent enclosed storage area such as a closet unless there is adequate circulation of air in and out of the area.

It may be necessary to install a second dehumidifier inside the enclosed storage area for satisfactory drying action.

The American Industrial Hygiene Association recommends controlling excess moisture to prevent and stopping indoor mold growth. Keeping area's of your home that are getting wet clean and dry is very important. If materials stay wet for 48 hours they are likely to produce mold growth.

Lower the humidity levels in your home prevents condensation and the creation of moisture. Moisture is the number one enemy as it can harbor biological contaminants that can be released into your air. many of the microorganisms are small enough to be breathed.

Preventive maintenance is to stop all leaks, dry out wet areas of your home, use water sealer and a dehumidifier.
