The F73 fume and mist extraction
systems provide industrial pollution control of welding and metalworking
fumes in work areas. This unit is designed to be used as an ambient air
cleaner to handle various contaminants, such as oil mist, fumes, and fine
dust particles. To effectively handle odors and fumes, this industrial
air cleaner can support up to 180 lbs. of gas phase media, via a carbon
module that is refillable.
The F73 can be fitted with a plenum, which
provides ducting and source capture capabilities, for instances where it may
not be practical to install the air cleaner directly over the process.
Modifying the F73 to support source capture capabilities carries benefits
over ambient capture, mainly because the contaminants are drawn directly
from the origin, keeping the worker's breathing zone free of pollutants that
could lead to negative health effects.
