Positives:

• Air Quality Engineering is one of the oldest smoke eater manufacturers and draws on the past 30 years of experience to manufacture their MiracleAir CM12 HEPA smoke eater; a commercial HEPA based filtration system that provides the best filtration performance, efficiency and capacity for the money.

• The design of the variable speed controller gives you more flexibility in controlling the airflow capacity. Unlike traditional smoke eaters that may only have a finite 3 speed setting, you can control the CFM air flow from 0 to 850 CFM to suit your air purification needs.

• This is our junior commercial HEPA based smoke eater we carry with an optional 22 lbs. of sorbent media that translates to moderate odor and smoke adsorbing strength compared to the Everclear's optional 44 lbs. of adsorbent media. If you have a moderate amount of smoke and odor or if you have a small commercial space to purify this is definitely the commercial smoke eater you want to get.

• Okay we've all heard the negatives about commercial smoke eaters being a little on the loud side - well all our commercial smoke eaters (except for the Biozone ATC's) have relatively the same noise intensity that range from 51 dBA - 69 dBA. With "normal" conversation measuring at 60 dBA the MiracleAir CM12 smoke eater's loudest setting at 69 dBA is one of the quietest commercial smoke eaters on the market.
   

Negatives:

• The MiracleAir CM12 HEPA based smoke eater takes a little more power to run this air filtration system compared to our electronic smoke eaters, so expect to use about 35% more electricity at its highest setting.

• Unlike the inconspicuous flush-mounted Everclear smoke eater, the The MiracleAir CM12 HEPA based smoke eater is a little on the bulky side that drops down from the ceiling and shouts, "look at me".  So if you don't mind your commercial smoke eater NOT blending in with your ceiling environment, then the MiracleAir CM12 is still an excellent choice.
