With 11 total development centers, ten of which
are located in the company's birthplace of Japan, and one in the United
States, Mori Seiki is able to focus on the high quality of their machining
centers.
Mori Seiki was founded in 1948 with high
standards set as the basis for producing some of the best machining centers
on the market. To this day, those standards are still in effect.
For Mori Seiki, product design is very much a fundamental part of their
manufacturing process. For new machine production, several test models
are constructed, allowing them to fine-tune the design before production
even begins. These machines are not designed to meet their
specifications, but to exceed them.

The MistBuster 500 pictured above proves to be
an effective method for addressing safety and health issues that may be the
result of overexposure to coolant mist produced by the machining process.
In this particular installation, the mist eliminator has been mounted
directly to the top of the machine enclosure. This enables the mist
collector to create negative pressure within the cabinet, eliminating a high
percentage of the mist that results from coolant overspray.

Hazard!
Potential risks of
overexposure to machine oil mist can create an unhealthy work environment
There are many
health and safety
issues that could arise if proper safety protocols for dealing
with oil mist are not being used.
