Cleaning Tips:
Soaking the cell longer than 3 minutes can cause your cleaning solution to become dirty too quickly and reduce its useful lifespan.
If you have stubborn tar or stains that do not remove easily, we recommend using a non-acidic solution, such as Simple Green.
Remember to also clean the aluminum prefilter to maintain maximum system airflow and effectiveness. A dirty prefilter reduces system airflow and efficiency and can cause the unit to make popping sounds.
Spray a light coat of cell coat on a clean dry cell each time you wash the cell. It will reduce pitting, prolong filter cell life and make for easy future cleaning.
