4 Layers of Revolutionary Protection

1. Airborne particles, lint, dust and pet hair is trapped by an outer filter.
    

2. The pre-filter (Permafilt™) traps smaller airborne particles that have escaped through the larger outer filter. This pre-filter extends the life of the carbon and HEPA layered filters inside.
    

3. 15 lbs. of activated carbon traps still smaller particles including odors and gasses.
    

4. The last layered stage involves True Medical Grade HEPA filter paper that removes harmful airborne particles that are as small as 0.3 microns

Austin Air Allergy Machine Filters Features

1. A military grade carbon cloth (HEGA cloth) is introduced to filter smaller airborne particles and contaminants that would otherwise shorten the life of the True Medical HEPA paper.
    

2. True Medical HEPA filter paper removes harmful airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns. True Medical HEPA filter paper is placed on the outside of carbon cloth to stop airborne particles from clogging up to much of the HEGA carbon cloth. This allows more HEGA carbon cloth more surface area to soak up smoke, gas and odors.
