"High Performance Cleanroom Air Purification Systems Are NOT
As Expensive As You Think..."
A "cleanroom" is a
carefully controlled environment in which the number of particulate,
microbes, and contamination of all kinds are significantly
minimized. The most effective way to accomplish this it to
continuously "flush" the cleanroom with highly filtered air that is
directed through High Efficiency Particulate air (HEPA) filters.
Six Classes of Cleanroom
Cleanliness
The contamination control
industry has chosen a government specification known as Federal
Standard 209E to provide a qualified and standardized method for
measuring how clean the air is in a cleanroom. Six classes have been
agreed upon to quantify cleanroom cleanliness:
Class 100,000 -
Class 10,000 - Class 1,000
-
Class 100 - Class 10
-
Class 1
The class number refers
to the maximum number of airborne particles greater than or equal to
one-half of a micron that would be allowed in one cubic foot of "cleanroom"
air. A Class 100 cleanroom, for example, would not contain more than
100 particles bigger than half a micron in a cubic foot of air.
IQAir Cleanroom
Air Purifiers Are Used In Cleanrooms up to Class 100 Our best IQair cleanroom systems can purify the air to within 100
airborne particles (mean particle size of 0.3 microns) per cubic
foot and can prevent over 99.99% of the same sized particles from
entering the cleanroom. This is remarkable considering that the
outside air we breathe typically contains millions of suspended
particles of dust, smog, and pollen in one cubic foot of air.

InFlow
W125

InFlow Ducting Attachment

|

Excellent |
The InFlow W125 ducting kit enables
any IQAir filtration system to draw air through a wall or window
vent into an indoor environment.
Use of the InFlow W125 is
advisable when the main pollution source is located in adjacent
indoor environments or outdoors.
 |
This InFlow W125 has the capability of Diluting
polluted air with clean air by flushing out air pollutants
and reducing influx of new outside pollutants due to a build- up
of positive pressure.
This is accomplished by increasing oxygen content in indoor
air (this happens when outdoor air is being drawn in). |
|
OutFlow
W125

Outflow Ducting Attachment
 |

Excellent |
The supply of filtered air into
an environment helps reduce air pollution in that
environment by dilution and the creation of positive
pressure, which reduces the infiltration of polluted air
from outside the environment.
With the OutFlow W125 kit, the
filtration device is positioned outside the clean area or
cleanroom, saving valuable space and reducing noise
exposure. It also eliminates the danger of housing leakage,
making it suitable even for certified cleanrooms.
 |
The OutFlow W125
kit allows filtered air from any IQAir® filtration device to
be directed through a wall or window vent.
The OutFlow W125 kit can be used to:
• Create clean areas,
• Deliver filtered air into cleanrooms or to the outside,
•
Create negative pressure areas,
• Create positive
pressure areas. |
