Crowcon's Triple Plus + portable gas detector provides customers with a
rugged, reliable multigas instrument that provides quality gas leak
detection in
harsh environments. Triple Plus+ is even buoyant, making it easy to
recover if accidentally dropped in water. Triple Plus + measures up to
four gases and comes with interchangeable sensors allowing complete
flexibility. When detecting a gas above a pre-set level, or for oxygen
a pre-set depletion level, the Triple Plus + emits a loud, piercing alarm and
a flashing red LED visual alarm. Triple Plus + is intrinsically safe,
meets ingress protection standards to IP65 and offers 12 hour's of
continuous operation with rechargeable batteries.
Triple Plus + IR is a new version of the Triple
Plus + utilizing infrared sensing technology for detection and measurement
of flammable hydrocarbons. Ideal for purge monitoring, infrared sensors are suitable for both high gas
concentrations and for use in inert (oxygen free) backgrounds. The IR
version extends the capability of the established Triple Plus + range for
gas
detection. The unique
design of the Crowcon IR sensor module used in Triple Plus + IR allows
measurement of hydrocarbons at both % LEL and % volume ranges. Triple
Plus + IR is well designed for detection of hydrocarbons in confined space
entry and for line and tank monitoring.

PC Interface |
PC access is achieved
through an RS232 serial link by locating the instrument
in the charger/PC
interface. The Windows™ compatible software
Set portable is then used to adjust or set: all alarms,
levels of alarm (3 for all channels, oxygen
2 descending 1 ascending), clock, password,
flammable gas correction factors, time zones,
user and site.
Log manager controls datalogging, giving the user a
choice of direct graphical output or a data file
compatible with all leading spreadsheets. |

Triple Plus+ can be
routinely calibrated quickly
and simply using Autocalibrator. The internal pump
of Autocalibrator handles up to five gases. A PC
interface provides easy access with optional
data logging for proof of calibration. |
