Chassis Window air conditioners and Through-wall
air conditioners are light weight and easy to setup
yet powerful. The Fedders D Chassis room air conditioners will cool a large
room or possibly a small apartment. But, for the air to be cooled, it
must be able to circulate throughout the area and still reach the unit,
which is why an air conditioner without ductwork will
generally only effect the air in one room or area. However, this is
one of the largest duct free residential air conditioners on the market. And it
will adequately cool a very large area.
D Chassis
Window or Though Wall Air conditioners come complete with
wall sleeve and grilles and can
handle up to 1,400 square feet with an airflow of 525 to 550
cubic feet per minute.
The D chassis
can remove from the air about 5.6 to 10.2 pints of moisture per hour and
offers such control as
3
speed fans with 3 way air direction. Certain models are Energy Star compliant
for the energy conscious. Adjustable front louvers let you direct the
airflow both horizontally and vertically, providing uniform cooling. Slide
out chassis Two-piece design provides easy installation. Simply mount the
lightweight cabinet, then slide in the modular chassis.
Fedders D-Chassis Window
and in wall Air Conditioners feature Touch Electronic controls. Adjust
temperature, fan speed and timer operation with the touch of a button.
Remote control has a sleek design and identical controls.

Installation...
 The
D Chassis Air Conditioner will install into a window or a wall with the
included sleeve and grilles. The rigid
window or wall installation is more permanent than the window air
conditioners that use the flex panels that extend to fill the window
opening. When the opening is bigger than the chassis sleeve, rigid
panels are cut to fit the open space. The slide in chassis feature makes
installation easy. First mount the lightweight cabinet sleeve, then
slide the chassis into the included wall sleeve.
