Fedders makes four different window air conditioners using the "V" Chassis that fit sideways sliding windows.  Fedders V Chassis room air conditioners are easy to setup and come in a full range of BTUs.

Like other Fedders ductless room air conditioners, these provide the latest luxuries to spoil you.  The Fedders V chassis series dehumidifies at a rate ranging from about 1.6 to 4.1 pints per hour.  Certain models are Energy Star compliant for low energy cost. Fedders V-Chassis Window Air Conditioners feature electronic controls and a digital readout plus a full function wireless remote that makes it almost too easy for ultimate comfort. Set the temperature, fan speed, 24 hour timer and mode without leaving your seat or bed.

Installation...

Easy to install, the Fedders V Chassis Window Air Conditioners use a slider to seal a window that is between 21" and 40 1/2" tall.  An extension kit is available to fit this air conditioner into larger windows up to 62" tall.
