The main difference between the IQAir GC Multigas air purifier and its more powerful sibling the IQAir GCX Multigas air purifier is, the IQair GC Multigas air purifier is designed to purify a smaller area, up to 900 sq. ft. compared to the IQair GCX's 1200 sq. ft. The GC contains 12 lbs. of gas phase media while the GCX series contains 25 lbs. In addition, the GC Series features smaller pre- and post-particle filters. As a result the maximum air delivery of the GC is about 20% less than that of the GCX.
