The main difference between the IQair GCX MultiGas and its less powerful sibling the IQair GC MultiGas is, that the GCX contains 25 lbs. of gas phase media while the GC series contains 12 lbs. In addition, the GCX Series features larger pre- and post-particle filters. As a result the maximum air delivery of the GCX is about 20% more than that of the GC.  All this translates to the IQair GCX MultiGas is designed to purify a larger area, up to 1200 sq. ft. compared to the IQair GC's 900 sq. ft.
