Designed with quality in mind, the REMOTE 2012
line of laser particle counters was created for continuous 24x7 operation
where events must be detected as they occur, as opposed to sequential
manifold or pneumatically multiplexed particle counting.
Following a quality standard of reliability and dependability, Lighthouse
developed the REMOTE 2012 line using the latest in optical particle
technology.
With a sensitivity range of 0.2 to 2.0 microns and a flow rate of 0.1 CFM (2.83 LPM), the
REMOTE 2012 provides real-time continuous data collection at a
cost-effective price per point ideal for equipment failure monitoring and
preventative maintenance. The Remote 2012 laser particle counter is also
particularly useful for immediate notification or alarming of yield
destroying particle excursions and allows for emergency reaction to particle
events.
Utilizing an external vacuum source, the
compact REMOTE 2012 particle counter provides versatile mounting options and
can be installed where space is at a premium.
The REMOTE 2012 integrates seamlessly with large facility
monitoring/management systems and transfers up to 2 channels of simultaneous
particle count data using 4-20 mA. The 4-20mA circuit is a very common
way to transmit instrumentation signals from one device to another. Up
to 4 sensors can be connected in serial (positive to negative) with one 24
volt DC power supply connected in parallel (positive to positive and
negative to negative).
With its highly focused range of 0.2 - 2.0
microns, the Lighthouse 2012 Remote airborne particle counter monitors
particulate levels in a range more sensitive to your process than a facility
control system alone will typically deal with. That is why we
recommend using a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to directly interface
with 4-20mA remote particle counters and the Lighthouse Monitoring System (LMS)
to collect data from the PLC and interface with the Building Control System
(CBS).
