BreathePureAir.com Return Policy


 ALL RETURNS MUST ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES:

All returned items must be returned in the original box and contain all accessories, packaging, documentation and material that was received. We do not accept returned items that are damaged due to neglect, misuse . Filters are not returnable and will not be issued a refund if they have been opened or used.

We are not liable for items damaged in return shipping, if items are damaged while in transit, the customer must file a claim with the shipping company. The products we sell are designed to last for many years, we expect all returns to be in perfect working order. If your unit is not working properly, you will need to file a warranty claim with the manufacturer or a damage claim with the shipper. We will be happy to assist you with any issues that arise.

If you receive a damaged package or a package that appears to be damaged, do not accept the delivery unless you are absolutely sure the merchandise is NOT damaged.  If your package is damaged, alert the shipping company immediately and file a claim, then contact us and we will promptly provide the carrier with any documentation they may need. We offer assistance to help ensure quick resolution to any problem.

ATTENTION: If you attempt to return any package directly to BreathePureAir without first obtaining a RMA # (Return of Merchandise Authorization Number) from our customer service department, your delivery will not be accepted and it will be returned back to you and you will be billed for return shipping.

 Return Policy Procedures:

1) Before you return any product you must contact a BreathePureAir customer service representative by telephone or online via an email to obtain an RMA #. When you submit your request for a return you will be given a RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization Number) that you will need to write on your shipping label below your return address. You must also include in the box a brief note explaining the reason for your return with your signature signed at the bottom of the note.  You can obtain an RMA # by calling 1-800-551-8544 or by emailing your request to info@breathepureair.com.

2) Your RMA # should be clearly written on the shipping label below the address to where you are returning your product. All returned products must be in "unused" or "as new saleable" condition in the original box or package. All instruction manuals, warranty cards, certification documentation, extras, bulbs and filters also must be included with the return.

3) All returns must be authorized by an RMA or RGA number.  Any return initiated without obtaining authorization from us is considered to be in non-compliance with our return policy, and delivery will not be accepted.  The customer will then be responsible for any applicable charges.

4) You will be provided with a return address along with your RMA information. Do not ship returns to our sales office or corporate headquarters unless otherwise instructed to do so. All shipments sent to the incorrect address will be refused. Please make sure you are returning your order to the correct address.

5) Once your returned merchandise is received and your merchandise is verified to be in "unused" or "as new saleable" condition, the appropriate amount will be refunded to your credit card. You should allow 21 days for your refund to appear on your credit card.

 Commercial / Industrial Return Policy Procedures:

1)Commercial and industrial products may be returned within 30 days of delivery. These include; smoke eaters, particle counters, misting fans, blowers, PTAC and through the wall air conditioners, dehumidifiers, gas monitors, air testing equipment, dust collectors, mist collectors, fume extractors, kitchen equipment, cleanroom equipment, medical equipment, sterilizers, UV equipment and any other products found in our commercial and/or industrial sections.

2)Commercial and industrial returns must be received within 30 days of your delivery date and will be subject to a 15% restocking fee plus the original shipping charges. You must call and receive a RMA or RGA number and specific return instructions. If any unit is returned damaged or shows signs of wear, additional refurbishing fees may apply.

Below is an outline of our residential return charges: The omission of  original packaging materials, dirty filters, missing parts, manuals, documents or other issues may result in additional charges. Original shipping charges will also be deducted from any refund amount.

Residential Return / Restocking Charges:

We accept returns of home air purifiers for up to 90 days from date of order!*  All returns should be sent back at the expense of the customer - NO returns will be accepted by BPA or their manufacturer if the items are shipped freight collect!

Filters may not be returned once they have been opened. If units are returned with dirty filters, the cost of new filters will be deducted from the refund amount.

*Airpura products are only returnable within 30 days of purchase.

Return dates start from the day the order is placed.

Residential Product Return Policy Items:

  1. Returns initiated between 0-3 days in "As New Saleable Condition

  2. Returns received by BPA or our manufacturer between day 4 and day 30 in "As New Saleable Condition"

  3. Returns received by BPA or our manufacturer on and after day 31 and in "As New Saleable Condition"

  4. Returns for exchanges of another BPA product

  5. Order Cancellations

  6. Orders that are "Refused Delivery"

  7. Special Personalized Orders

  8. Priority Shipping

  9. Returned products that are purchased with CareCredit card

  10. Orders that are shipped from outside the USA to our customers

1) Returns initiated between 0-3 days in "As New Saleable Condition":
BPA customers who initiate the return of their product between day 0-3, and as long as the product(s) are in "As New Saleable Condition" will be refunded the full amount of the cost of their product(s) minus a 5% merchant account transaction fee that is passed along to the customer. The customer is also responsible for the initial and return shipping charges plus a $25 handling charge. If products are not returned in "like-new" condition, a fair and reasonable refurbishing fee will be assessed and deducted from the customer's refund.

2) Returns that are received by BPA or our manufacturer between day 4 and day 30 in "As New Saleable Condition":
Returns that are received by BPA or the original manufacturer between day 4 and 30 and as long as the product(s) are in "As New Saleable Condition" will be issued a refund less a 10% restocking fee the amount of the cost of their product(s). The customer is responsible for the initial and return shipping charges. If products are not returned in "As New Saleable Condition", an additional, fair and reasonable refurbishing fee will be assessed and deducted from the customer's refund.

3) Returns that are received  by BPA or our manufacturer on/or after day 31 and in "As New Saleable Condition":
Returns that are received by BPA  or the original manufacturer on and after day 31, and as long as the product(s) are in "As New Saleable Condition" will be issued a refund less a 15% restocking fee the amount of the cost of their product(s). The customer is responsible for the initial and return shipping charges. If products are not returned in "As New Saleable Condition", an additional, fair and reasonable refurbishing fee will be assessed and deducted from the customer's refund.  BPA (nor our manufacturer) will accepts returns at their corresponding facility that arrives 90 days past from the date of order.

4) Returns for an exchange of another BPA product:
Customers who request an exchange for products of equal or greater cost (in "As New Saleable Condition" and in its original packaging) will have Return Policy Items 1-3 apply to their returned merchandise.  The customer will also be responsible for the first initial shipping cost, their own return shipping cost and the second outbound shipping cost.  Customers who request an exchange for products of a lesser cost will also have Return Policy Items 1-3 apply to their returned merchandise.  Customers will be responsible for the first initial shipping cost, their own return shipping cost and the second outbound shipping cost. If products are not returned in "As New Saleable Condition", an additional, fair and reasonable refurbishing fee will be assessed and deducted from the customer's refunded difference or if the assessed shipping fees, handling charge and/or refurbished fee (if applicable) is higher than the difference - the overage will be charged to the customer's credit card.

5) Order Cancellations:
If a customer cancels his/her order before the products are  actually shipped, he/she will be refunded the full amount minus a 5% merchant account transaction fee that is passed along to the customer plus a $25 handling charge.

6) Orders that are "Refused Delivery":
If a customer orders from BPA and then refuses delivery, item 1 of BPA's return policy will apply.

7) Special Personalized Orders:
Special Personalized orders that are specially made by the manufacturer or are specially assembled by BreathePureAir are not returnable.

8) Priority Shipping:
BreathePureAir is happy to ship their products priority and a shipping fee can be quoted. Any returned items that are priority shipped will not resolve in that priority fee being refunded.

9) Return products that are purchased with CareCredit card:
Customers who return their BPA products who have purchased them using a CareCredit card will have all the normal Return Policy Items apply plus will incur an additional CareCredit card handling charge of 12% of the amount charged on their CareCredit card for that order. The credit application fee is non-refundable.

10)  Orders that are shipped from outside the USA to our customers
BPA has some manufacturers who ship products from outside the USA to our customers. These orders / products are more expensive for BPA to send to our customers due to added freight and customs charges that are levied against these products for the initial shipping.

If your product was shipped to you from outside the USA - these extra freight charges will be passed on to the customer if they wish to return their product. These charges will ultimately be deducted from the money that is refunded to the customer. This policy applies to returns that are initiated between the day the product is sent and the 90th day. All RETURN shipping charges; freight charges, customs charges, duties, taxes, import / export charges and/or brokerage charges are to be paid by the customer who is returning the item. In the event that any RETURN freight charges, customs charges, duties, taxes, import / export charges and/or brokerage charges are accessed to either BPA or the manufacturer, the amount of these charges will be deducted from the amount that is refunded to the customer.
