Applications for Trion CA3000C & CA6000C Dust Collectors...

For industrial work areas, Trion Cartridge Air Cleaners are great for applications where heavy smoke, powders, and dust create unhealthy and hazardous environments.  The intake can be ducted into problem areas to provide ambient air cleaning, or it may be ducted with source capture arms sucking the contaminants right at the source of your cutting, welding, grinding, etc.

How CA3000C & CA6000C Cartridge Dust Collectors Work...

Trion’s CA3000C and CA6000C Cartridge Air Cleaners pull the dirty, polluted air through the high-efficiency cellulose pleated cartridge filters where the contaminant is trapped on the outside of the filter media. The filtered air then passes through the clean air plenum and is exhausted.

To clean the cartridges: clean, dry, compressed air is connected, and the timer (which is activated either manually or automatically) in sequence opens and closes air valves. The valves direct pulses or bursts of compressed air from the inside to the outside of the cartridge. This pulsing action loosens the collected contaminants from the filters. The contaminants then fall to the bottom of the unit or into the hopper (optional accessory).
