The CAC 500 is a commercial air purifier which is
designed for areas where people work or relax.
It is manufactured to be mounted on the ceiling and
hidden so that no more than four inches of the unit comes out into the room, dropping
into one-half of a standard 2'x4' ceiling panel. The inconspicuous design
provides a purifier that is appealing and does not need additional ductwork or
costly installation.
The CAC 500 has the ability to clean up to 95%
of tobacco smoke, dust, pollen, lint, bacteria and mold spores from
recycled room air. It includes “center suction” air intake and 4-side
return air release, 3 speeds, and optional activated carbon after-filter.
The Trion CAC is the ultimate air purifier for
industries such as restaurants, bars and taverns, offices, conference
rooms, computer rooms, designated smoking areas, medical institutions and
waiting rooms. |

CAC500 uses a principle
called Interception Filtration. Dirty, polluted air is drawn through the pre
filter to remove larger particles. The second stage, a micro-glass deep
pocket media filter strips submicron particles from the air stream by
intercepting them. The small diameter fibers in the filter intercept and retain
these small particles while the large surface area of the filter gives long
life and low pressure drop. The blower is designed specifically to handle
the filtration system at rated CFM over the useful life of the filter. The
Trion units work independently of any HVAC system.
